After The Rain

Hush the wind that swings the trees
Trees so tall, do bend like knees
Nestling birds cuddle and tweet
Sweet-nothings zest, butterflies and roses meet.

Touch the leaves, a light embrace
Trace the path of rain- a daze
Of chain-like crystals, they cling on greens,
And petals too like dewy sunscreens.

The earth is refreshed, renewed
By a clear white sky painting a harmony of good
After the rain
And back again.
