It may not happen today
Or even right away
Because I know that
the good Lord
is still working on me
But I know that some day
I will find somebody
That will complete me
in every imaginable way
Then I will finally be able
to say
that I found somebody
That will meet me half way
That can truly make me happy
And then I will never have to
say that
I will ever spend another day
worrying about being lonely
It may not happen today
Or even right away
Because I know that
the good Lord
