I found out early on if you
hadn't tried to change me
And you would have approached
things in a very different way
Instead of trying to control me
That things could've
worked out
between you and me
But don't get me wrong
I will not say anything
to hurt you
in any form or way
Because I am just
not
that type of a guy
But before I say
my final goodbye
I do hope and pray
That you can find somebody
that will make you happy
Because you do deserve someone
that can be your forever and a day
