 Penniluck's legacy

Just thinking of how our lives used to be
When all of us cousins were still awfie wee
And living together so young and so free
Back when we all stied in Bonnie Dundee

June and Ann and Maggie and Heather
Who we used to call Heather the blether
Jimmy and Peter and Gordon, lads three,
Some just a memory back in Dundee.

Peter and Dennis and Frankie as well
Margaret and Mary, who cried when she fell
Theresa and Marjory och they were still wee
Down memory lane in Bonnie Dundee

Caroline, Christina, Alan and all
Raymond, Wee Stan, who played wae a ball
Catherine his sister, who I love to see
Och I still remember my Bonnie Dundee

June and Gillian and Bryan and all
Twins Bea and Brenda and Linda as well
John, and John, and Marion and Gary
Young Frank and Gwen, for a moment just tarry

I remember oh yes sweet family of mine
I can go sixty-six years back in time
And Graeme and Kenneth I didn`t forget
And all of us cousins will never regret

That once we all played along cobbled streets
And if we were lucky we sometimes got sweets
Looking over my shoulder my eyes can still see
This family together in Bonnie Dundee

Sonny and Jean, cousin Margaret and Bet
Billy, oh yes I remember them yet
Nan, Uncle Alec's wee lassie you know
Remember them well och where did time go

If somehow my cousins your name isn`t there
I`m just getting old but I really do care
Think of it family, think and you`ll see
All of us back there, in Bonnie Dundee.
