Death in a packetSome say it's just their personal rights, I say it's a joke, The excuses they use, justifying their addiction to smoke, Nicotine is just a legal drug, there's nothing left to decide, To me it's perfectly clear, a slow legitimate form of suicide, It's socially unacceptable, it's a liability to everyone's health, Watch your earnings go up in smoke, companies up in wealth, Passive smoking is totally selfish, you're killing your family too, Don't tell me your lame excuses, you're a walking chimney flue, Don't accuse me of being "holier than thou", I know what I say, I smoked for many years, when I stopped being the hardest day, Twenty years without a cigarette, the best decision I ever made, I may have some health problems, its' probably the price I paid, It would now have been much worse, if I had not stopped at all, I have given myself a second chance, I beg you to hear my call, So stop kidding yourself, addicted to your smoking time bomb, Every time you light that fuse, a step towards the end will come, It killed more people than war has done, no enemy is even required, It's all down to wanton self destruction, your used-by date expired, Give up today before it's too late, give yourself and family a chance, If I can convince one person to stop, I justify my moral stance.
