Bright Light
Share your food, who hungers,
Invite the poor to your house;
Make peace with warmongers,
Show respect to your spouse.
Clothe the ones you see nude,
Help relatives in need;
If a bad attitude,
Sow in them some good seed.
Then your light will break through,
Like dawning a new day;
His glory will shine on you,
As you trust and obey.
Your wounds will quickly heal,
As your righteousness leads;
Pulling strength from your zeal,
Continuing your good deeds.
The glory of the Lord,
Will guard you from behind;
You will not be ignored,
As His armor will bind.
Do not point your finger,
And saying wicked things;
For those thoughts will linger,
With the evil it brings.
To satisfy the needs,
Of those who are humble;
God will reward your deeds,
Check you do not stumble.
The Lord constantly guides,
Pleases the soul where dry;
Strengthen bone that divides,
Encourages to try.
