As day turns to night and darkness falls
The dead become alive and begin to walk
The interred have arisen and they've come to feed
On the flesh of all the living ones who breathe
You try to run but there is no escape
From this evil that has sprung from hell's gates
Because tonight the devil's busy while Christ is at rest
As we're held in this grisly life after death
Frightened mothers hold their young with tears in their eyes
In fear the moment will come that they'll be eaten alive
While the men stand guard for whatever may come
Knowing it's only a matter of time before they're overrun
The tension's awful in this crazy nightmare
As the stench of corpses pervades the air
Precious lives cut short by the most violent of means
Told by the sounds of horror and silent screams
Beware! They're here!
So please stay tuned
Or on this very night it could be your doom
And you'll end up the feast of a thousand ghouls
So remember to make peace with the route you choose
