Blessed is the one that does not,
Follow advice that evil sought;
Nor taking the path of sinners,
For they shall be surely winners.
He enjoys teachings of the Lord,
And wants to be in one accord;
Reflecting on them night and day,
Ensuring not to go astray.
For it is able to be heard,
His meditation on the Word;
No matter at what time of night,
You are able to see his light.
He is like a tree by the streams,
Blossoming and fruitful it seems;
And his leaves will never wither,
Not in fall or even winter.
Everything he will succeed,
Since the Lord guides him through each deed;
He prospers harvesting each field,
From an over abundant yield.
Wicked people are not the same,
Knavery is what they proclaim;
Since they constantly go astray,
Their crops are always blown away.
That is why they will soon be judged,
For envy and being begrudged;
Sinners are not able to stand,
Because they stand on sinking sand.
