If  you really cared
you would open up
and not be so afraid
of the opportunity to
allow
yourself to be loved

Instead of feeling
unwanted or needed

By someone that
no longer cared

That left you feeling
emotionally destroyed

Life can be very
harsh at times
and not very kind

Because we are living
in
an ever changing world

That is filled with
so much
anger and hatred

But there is still
hope
for so many of us

That want more then
anything else to have
one more opportunity
to be wanted and loved

By someone
who
actually cared
