A part of me doesn't
want
to be here anymore
Because I don't think that my
life will ever be like it was
back in two thousand and four
And to be honest with you
the silence is overwhelming
and I am so tired of hurting
And my phone hardly ever
rings and no one ever
comes to visit me anymore
Maybe you can relate
to what I am saying
And you can understand
what I am feeling
Because you yourself
have
been there before
And you know what it was
like not having
anyone around to remind you
just how truly special you are
But you know something this
is just a passing feeling and
there is still a part
of me that keeps hanging on
For reasons unknown
Because I keep hoping
and
dreaming and praying
That the good Lord will bring me
someone soon that is
truly kind and loving and caring
So that I don't have to
feel like this anymore
