How do you write your poems,
A sweet young lady said:
Dead easy my dear,
I just rummage in my head
Where there are millions of thoughts,
Projects and ideas to be found
If I just have the patience
To search quietly around.
Then I take a few words
Mentally give them a shake
And with fingers crossed
See what sense they make.
Quite often it can be
One of those times when
It makes no sense at all
So I just start off again,
By shaking my head
And rummaging around
Where there are millions of thoughts,
Projects, and ideas to be found.
