Mom I dreamed about you today
and you
were wearing your turquoise shirt
and of all things you were doing
your laundry
But I must admit you
sure
did look very pretty
And I will be honest it did surprise
me just to be able to see you
even though it was ever so briefly
But it sure did make my day a better day
just knowing that you
came to visit me in my dreams today
At least you will always be
alive
and very vivid in my dreams
It is just a shame that I
cannot
dream about you every day
But I will take what I can get
because it always makes me
feel like you are closer to me.
