As holy people the elect,
The ones the Father did select;
For we are the ones He does love.
Showing mercy and grace thereof.
Be sympathetic and humble,
Do not think trying to grumble;
Remember to keep peace of mind,
So you will be patient and kind.
Tolerate with one another,
Always forgiving each other;
If anyone has a complaint,
Remember your tongue in restraint.
Forgive others as He forgave,
Because the Lord had come to save;
And so rather than being grim,
You will need to be more like Him.
So be loving to all you greet,
Go ahead and offer your seat;
To the eldest one that you see,
For tying it all perfectly.
Let the peace of Christ take control,
As His love remains in your soul;
For you are a body of one,
Along with the Father and Son.
Let the Word of Jesus Christ,
Guide you in being sacrificed;
With all the wisdom each day through,
As His richness lives within you.
As the hymns and songs you impart,
Sing unto God within your heart;
For all that you say or you do,
Be done in His name remain true.
