Tell me just what should we say?
Should we continue to sin;
Or should we trust and obey,
So we can be pure within.
As far as sin we have died,
So how can we ever live;
Knowing we cheated and lied,
Not asking God to forgive.
When baptized into His death,
We were placed within His tomb;
But then given a new breath,
When coming out of the womb.
As Christ was brought back from death,
By the power of His Father;
Which gave new life through His breath,
And returning from thither,
If united now with Him.
And having become as one;
Then we should never feel grim,
With the Father and the Son.
We know who we use to be,
But to put an end to sin;
They also crucified me,
Now no more smell is within.
If we die then we are free,
For His unfailing love;
Will spell it out as to see,
How love does flow from above.
