I never thought that
in this lifetime that
I would be the one
That is saying
these
words to you
Or for that matter to anyone
But you know I have been feeling
really empty and so very alone
Yet I find myself wishing over and
over again that I had
someone that would tell me I love you
Every day or just every now and then
so that
I could say the same thing in return
Just so that I could feel whole again
Because I was never meant to be alone
And if I have to continue to live this way
I have a feeling that
I will be gone soon
Not because I want to but because
I will die from broken heart syndrome
And I am certain that many people who have gone
through this will totally understand
that its really an awful feeling being alone
And I for one would never wish that on anyone
