"My kind of angel"

You don't have to cry
But if it will help you
in any form or way
There is always an angel
close by
to wipe your tears away
They may not have
wings and they
may not even fly
Because they just might be
an
earth angel that you can see
That is just passing by
And they usually
show
up unexpectedly
When you really need them
to on a very difficult day
And when they do they will make
such a
significant difference in your day
By singing you a beautiful melody
that will
make all of your tears go away
And when it is time for them to
go away
you'll be left smiling and happy
You don't have to cry
But if it will help
you
in any form or way
There is always an angel
close by
to wipe your tears away
