I know when you died for me
that I would be given eternity
if I would just change my ways
And live in the spirit
instead of the body
Because you had already forgiven
me when you died on
the cross on that very horrific day
But I will admit it was very difficult
living in this earthly
body for me to be able to find my way
Especially in this ever
changing world today
And for the longest time I did feel like
a stray that couldn't find my
way because my heart was so divided
In every imaginable way
But I still wouldn't
allow my
spirit to be conquered
Because through you I could see
clearly that the impossible can
become
possible through your loving ways
But more importantly through
your blessings and your mercy
I have finally
begun to see the light of day
And I have accepted what
will be will be
with a promise of eternity
