We may be apart
and you may be
on a different plain
But every morning when I wake up
with the sun
shining or even when it is raining
And I listen closely and hear
the birds singing
or I see a flower blooming
While a gentle wind is blowing
I keep imagining to myself
that all of the
things that I see and hear
That it is your own special
way of reminding me that
you are always near and not
that far away and that you
will
always remain inside my heart
And I know that I can
always count on that
Even though you are no longer here in body
but at least your spirit still lingers on
like an angel sent down to me from Heaven
