The farmer who plants a few seeds,
Will be having a few more weeds;
To be growing up in the field,
When it comes time for him to yield.
Because the less that you can reap,
Then will be less able to keep;
So if you sow too sparingly,
Have a harvest despairingly.
The one that sows abundantly,
They do not reap reluctantly;
Since they will find out God will bless,
The one who will sow in excess.
For the way that I have been told,
God is willing to bless tenfold;
Sowing abundantly in the spring,
Means in the fall more bells will ring.
So if your needs are awful small,
No need to go to God and call;
Go ahead and leave Him alone,
Do not bother Him on His throne.
But if needs are many as such,
And in need of His gentle touch;
God will bless with a bumper crop,
That will fill the silos to the top.
You must be able to believe,
In order for you to receive;
Without faith you can never trust,
In Him who is faithful and just.
In due time all of us must learn,
How much we desire to earn;
Not forced rather cheerful to give,
For His abundant love to live.
