And while I was inside her home
she was cleaning in her kitchen
And I heard her say you must
have brought in
a butterfly when you came in
And now you have to help me set it
free because she was afraid to
touch it for fear of breaking it's wings
And that's when everything became interesting
and I slowly walked over to the butterfly and I
slid my hand next to its legs and it actually
climbed up on my hand and it didn't fly away
And when I got outside I started to
sway
my hand up and down in the wind
And its wings were working
well but it
just didn't want to fly away
So I approached everything in a different way and I
decided to set it free on some beautiful
green ivy leaves and that is when it stepped off of me
And I just have to say that I look
at this whole
experience as a spiritual blessing
Because nothing this
special has
ever happened to me
But I am truly happy that
it happened to me today
Because it has allowed me
to look at things
in a whole different way
