 ~REFLECTING MOMENTS~

JUMP

An unsettled feeling
my eyes blink yellow and wide
and your not here

My hands are morphing
into..."claws"
there is nothing whimsical here

I lower my head beside despair
an aroma of tobacco hangs in the air
yesterday's cigarette

What language do they speak
the tongues of others
a sloppy wet kiss remains

You have me cornered with...
soft restraints and a gag ball
you always loved this dress

Mothers are deserters
she died her hair black
to match her heart...I am angry

A wing is protruding
threw my obedient back
I pluck it's feathers

I am a very patient person
my knuckles hurt and bare scars
as does my broken weight

They put hooks in my eyelids
and I let them carefully
I must see all of it

They told me I am at risk
I take an out of body flight
perched in a eucalyptus tree

Waiting and stalking
for my dear life
wanting to taste you
