i took these photos of our rosebud in our front yard. And it's a joy making a poem...clippings of beauty for such an amazing gift, the rosebud.

Softest bud enclosed in greens beneath
As fresh mornings bequeath,
Will the breeze hums and single out her name
And robins serenade her again

And Night rain's kiss
Will she mind a light cottonseed blown or any fancy there is,
Fireflies in craze of light or fairies dancing in the lawn
Gracing her stunning beauty even before the dawn

Perhaps her tears has turned into thorns,
Bearing them all, her awesome strength that adorned
For tomorrow she no longer be a sweet creature that slumbers
But a dashing blossom undefied, a heart so long remembers.
