You have flown away way
up high into the
sky where you can be free
To be anything that you
want to be in
your new ethereal body
Because like a gracious
butterfly you have earned
your wings to soar and fly
It hasn't been easy having to say
goodbye because that
came to me with great difficulty
As it would be with
anybody
who loses somebody
But thank you for all of the
wonderful years
that you had shared with me
Because no one can ever
take that away from me
Just know that you will be
deeply
missed while you are away
And yes you can already
see
that I will continue to cry
Because I loved you just
as much as you loved me
But at least I know in my heart
without a doubt that
we will meet up again some day
And when we do meet up again at least I
can say hello to you
again without ever having to say goodbye
