Could it have been an angel that I had seen
sitting at the very end of my bed or maybe
it might have been either my mom or my dad
I will admit I have been perplexed because I have often
wondered who visited me on that very late night
back in the year of two thousand and one at midnight
And all I can say is that it
was truly an amazing
experience that I had had
Because I saw something
that was in human form
like a mist surrounded by
a multicolored vibrant light
That had illuminated
my room that night
Maybe it was an angels way
of allowing me
to be comforted and reassured
To let me know that I was
blessed and deeply loved
Even though at the time
I was
feeling very depressed
Because it had been three years since my mother
had died
and eleven years since my dear father had passed
Yet there were no words being exchanged
and it only lasted what seemed like minutes
but in reality it was only for a few seconds
But I would like to think that it was
an angel
that was sitting at the end of my bed
really late that night around midnight
But it sure was one of the most
amazing
experiences that I had ever had
