In light of eternity, I'm found dangerously
Satisfied, Spiritually living on the cusp
Weak and sadly, Not wanting, Lulled
Knowing God loves me

Satisfied, Praying the same prayers, Falling
Asleep with those prayers unfinished
Eye's heavy, My mind once stayed
Upon Jesus, Now filled with carnality

Entertained by the world, Unwilling to invest
More time communing intimately with the God
Of Glory, Missing more and more services
I've Fallen into a spiritual stupor

I've heard every Sermon From Genesis to
Revelation, Father help me, I can't shake myself
From this complacency, I've become trapped
In the enemy's snare

I'll hear him call my name, He'll find me, Free
Me, He'll carry me back to the safety of the fold
I will weep, He will clothe me with the Spirit of
Praise

He will cover me with his wings, I will rest beneath
His feathers, My hand shall not leave his again, I
Will cling to him only, His Word will I hide
In my heart, His praise will ever be on my lips.
