I have known that troubled road
and
the emptiness that had followed
But I am not afraid
nor am I worried
Because I am beyond this heart
that
had been broken and hardened
And allowed my mind to feel
rejuvenated and refreshed
and truly and deeply touched
From everything that I had experienced
For I know that I had been blessed to
have survived all
the moments when I was traumatized
From being so broken heart-ed
And I have already moved forward
beyond anything that I had imagined
And I have healed
But no one knows what lies ahead
except for our dearly beloved Lord
And what ever he has planned
It will be accepted and appreciated
for I am prepared for what lies ahead
But I will not take anything for granted for
I know with all of my heart that
it has been what the good Lord has wanted
And I will not be discouraged
or even worried
for what my future may hold
Because I know through him that I
am loved
and that I will never be abandoned
