It is absolutely pointless,
That seems to be so meaningless;
Working all day tired all night,
Having no fun for their delight.

It seems like day in and day out,
What this life totally about;
What do we gain from working hard,
And in eighty years then discard.

All day work hard under the sun,
Then too tired to have some fun;
Never seeing the light of day,
Only dark coal mines on the way.

Generations come and they go,
But forever the rivers flow;
The sun rises and the sun sets,
No buttons to push for resets.

For the sun and moon are in place,
In full circle by His grace;
And towards the south as the wind blows,
 Shifting to the north as it flows.

Some wind can be often intense,
If too strong there is no defense;
Shifting and encircles a storm,
Cold if with snow and rain if warm.

All streams will flow into the sea,
From mountains where once had to be;
Going back to where it began,
Just the way the Lord had to plan.

So the water is then made into clouds,
And big enough fall on the crowds;
An endless cycle for the earth,
For the survival of its worth.
