You keep telling me
that
you don't want to be
Feeling lonely like you
have been for another day
Because all you want is
somebody that will take
all those feelings away
That can truly love
you
in a very special way
But you must understand
that patience is the key
Because you don't need
somebody
that is only temporary
That might just walk away
But you do need someone that will
nurture you and love you
and appreciate you every single day
That will stand beside
you
through thick and thin
With a promise of forever and a day
Just don't be in a hurry
Because I have made mistakes like that before
and the experiences just ended up hurting me
