Poetic-Verses

'' Life Isn't Always What It Appears ''

Deities all around,
Yet none can be found,
Don't you find that really odd?
Seems to be that they've all gone to ground,
Or could they be guilty of fraud.

On the subject of death,
When we take our last breath,
Do we go on to meet our maker?
Or is he as real as Shakespeare's MACBETH.
Will we find out if he's real or a faker?

There are dirty beasts,
Who enjoy young feasts?
But the truth they always try to avoid,
Nuns and ministers and even priests,
Then they ask why we get annoyed.

While they live in splendour,
Not so their lender,
Poverty to their funders is the norm,
While religious leaders sing, ‘'Hey Big Spender ‘'
With reality we've got to conform.

Humans have a need,
 Their fantasies to feed,
That's why some people take drugs,
Hallucinatory beings we should never heed,
You've got to ask who are the mugs.

Taking life in Gods name,
Does not bring them shame,
What sort of message does that instil?
How can a murderer possibly claim fame?
When their deity says, ‘' Thou Shalt Not Kill ‘'

The meaning of life,
Will forever cause strife,
So try to dispel any fears,
Sometimes the truth can cut like a knife,

‘' Life Isn't Always What It Appears ‘'
