Those who are believers,
Of the Lord Jesus Christ;
Will be the receivers,
For why He sacrificed.
For no longer can they,
Be condemned for their sin;
If they trust and obey,
They will be cleansed within.
Standards of the Spirit,
Who gives you life through Christ;
Deals more than just merit,
When you have been enticed.
But you have been set free,
From that of death and sin;
With the insight to see,
What corrupts you within.
It is impossible,
To do what God demands;
Weakness is probable,
Resisting His commands.
But God had sent His Son,
For the trait of sinners;
In getting the job done,
For them to be winners.
So God condemned the sin,
Of the corrupt nature;
His Spirit enters in,
Making a new creature.
So if we stop living,
Our corrupt nature;
God will be forgiving,
To be a new creature.
