In memory of my cousin Mary Wilson Sinclair who sadly passed away on 25/4/14 We never met and she was a distant cousin I contacted through my heritage site, but she seemed a lovely woman and we kept in contact by letter. She was a brave woman too. I wish I had met her but it wasn`t to be. RIP Mary and God Bless you love always Penni xxx
Sorry to hear that you have gone
So sorry we never met
But I am so glad I knew you
So will not feel regret
Reading through your letters
I cried a bit today
I really felt the family tie
Strange, so some might say
But Mary I know you were kind
With a huge and loving heart
So sorry I never met you
Way back at the start
Still I will remember
You were no stranger lass
You were part of family
I know you were first class
You cared enough about me
To wish me all the best
Although you had your problems
You passed that loving test
I hope somewhere in Heaven
With the angels high above
You`ve met all the family
Please give them all my love
You don`t need the family tree
You`ll know all there is to know
But still I am so sorry Mary
That you had to go
Say hi to Georgina, and George
And all the rest
But most of all dear Mary
I wish you all the best
This is sent with lots of love
Through the clouds to you
We won`t forget you Mary
Whatever else we do
And fae Scotland hae a dram
And blether wae yer ain
`Cause up there ye hae found them a`
Awelcomin` ye hame.
