I wish you would
have cared
as much as I did
But by leaving me behind
never to have returned
We both ended up being
broken and shattered
But we did have a love
that could not
be compared to any other
Because of all of the
wonderful moments that
we had shared together
From the very beginning
up until the very end
Because we weren't just lovers
we were also very best friends
And neither one of us ever yelled
at each other
and we got along so well together
But what ever happened to love and to honor
and to hold in
sickness and in health up until the very end
But sadly with us that had never happened
but you
know something I honestly wish that it did
Because you were trusted
and
loved and so appreciated
