Fishers Of Men

At times our Christian witnessing
May need a tug or tote…
We need to carry it to sea
And trust God to guide the boat.

Learn a lesson from the pelican,
That keeps circling the water…
It knows just where the fish are…
It understands creation’s order.

Remember, God is always working
And His work calls for a plan.
He cleans the fish we're catching...
He is the only One who can!

If you’re wondering where He’s working…
 Look around for evidence.
"Pelicans "of patience
Are always circling His presence.

Point your boat in that direction
If your nets are tried and true…
But get ready for some holy risks
Because some sharks will circle you!

Always bait your words with kindness…
But never compromise with sin.
Use your Savior's good example
As you go fishing after men.

~~Dedicated to George...Word Rider 1 ~~

John 5:1
Jesus said to them, "My Father is always doing
his work. He is working right up to this very day.
I am working too."

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control. Against such
things there is no law.

Matthew 4:19
"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you
fishers of men."
