I`m Five
To my lovely grandson TJ who is 5 years old today.5/8/14 Hope you have a wonderful day son love always Nannie xxx
TJ is special laddie
Loves to sing just like his Daddy
Big blue eyes just like his Mum
Jumps and plays, has lots of fun
But now that he is five today
And can still go out to play
He will soon be off to school
Following the golden rule
Learn his numbers two by two
Reading, writing, he will do
Singing songs the teacher taught
TJ will learn all that they`ve got
To teach him as he strolls through life
Then one day he`ll find a wife
But for now he`s just beginning
Wonder you can`t hear him singing
Look at me now growing tall
Hitting balls against the wall
Running, Jumping, skipping too
All these things I soon can do
For today I`ll stay at home
But it won`t be very long
Until I walk right through the gate
Of my school, and not be late
Before I know it I`ll be grown
All these in between years flown
So I`ll save them as a treasure
And I will hold tight forever.
