Some enter not His place of rest,
Because they did not do their best;
But others will enter that place,
Where He will be shining His grace.
The ones who have heard the Good News,
But did not follow His values;
And because they had gone astray,
Have been blocked since they disobey.
So God has set another day,
Teaching them on how to obey;
And that day is now to arrive,
When others will remain alive.
Years after your family failed,
On a tree the Son of God was nailed;
Allowing them into this place,
To rest and to feel His embrace.
If you hear God speak to you now,
Be not stubborn or question how;
He may want you to start to root,
So you can bear spiritual fruit.
You might want to focus on life,
Reasons for having so much strife;
Then enter in His place of rest,
When He feels that you pass the test.
A time for rest and for worship,
Time for branches to develop;
A time for roots for growing deep,
And when your ripened fruit to reap.
Those who enter rest from labor,
After bearing fruit from neighbor;
As sun and rain make the trees grow,
Your wisdom and knowledge will grow.
You are lost if you disobey,
In the wilderness as you stray;
The harvest will be slim and weak,
From sinful solutions you seek.
The Word of God the living Lord,
And sharper than a two edge sword;
Cuts deep into roots of the soul,
Causing the tree to take its toll.
