Welcome to My life in the shadows
IN THE AFTERMATH
She was once my dream
my hot vision beholding
She was my sunshine
my bright stary morning
She was my rain
drops
my flower unfolding
Now she only occupies
my un-owned time
both
vacant and empty
A cigarette worth of thought
to cool
hot coffee
A small and restless moment
spent on sheets
that have no memory
of loves
refrain
