Aloe Vera and Rotten Mouth

I cut a piece of Aloe leaf,

to ease the ache

of my tongue and lips,

in May.

Because they had eaten

some foods were improper.

They had also said

some words were inappropriate.

So my lip corners cracked,

tongue tip inflamed.

Suffered quite a lot,

felt dismayed.

My old wife asked,

How tasty is the taste?

My mouth said,

Ashamed,

very ashamed.

My heart thought,

Perhaps they are not related,

but anyway

it’s not a tasty taste.
