'' They Should Be Complying ''

They continue with their swindling,
As world resources are dwindling,
For us the consequences are dire.
While we can no longer afford the kindling,
The rich sit warm by the fire,

As all the stars mingle,
To record a new single,
It's the poor they turn to for help,
They do love to hear your money jingle,
Some of them need a good skelp.

Foodbanks the norm,
No heat in the storm,
The recovery is such a success,
Politicians lying, is so true to form,
They're fiddling while we're in a mess.

Everything is fine,
As they sip fine wine,
They say we've never had it so good,
While on fillet steaks they all dine,
Iceland's where we get our food.

They know nought of frugality,
Nor of mortality,
The fact is they don't even care,
Truth is they're out of touch with reality,
Tell them the truth if you dare.

While their life's a gas,
We're starving en masse,
Now our Lords have been caught on the fiddle,
It is allowed as they're upper class,
Why we let them to me is the riddle.

It's time to get real,
Let them know how we feel,
The ordinary public are dying,
It's from the poor these cretins steal,
It's with our rules,
