Poetic-Verses

'' They Are Totally Blind ''

I live in a world where there's no hatred of race,
No interest of the colour on another's face,
Talk of the subject is classed as a disgrace,
It really is so unrefined.

A place where the disabled are treated the same,
All we need know is their title or name,
Here we don't know what it is to defame,
It's being normal not being kind.

We don't really care if you're black or white,
As long as you know what you're doing is right,
Where dignity and respect are forever in sight,
A fellow Human is how you'll be defined.

When I look at you, your religion I can't see,
With what I don't know I cannot disagree,
You could be a mirror looking at me,
Does my face need realigned.

Both race and religion are used as excuses,
To hurt and administer all sorts of abuses,
Hatred and phobias are what it produces,
Sometimes Humans can be so unkind.

Those differently abled can be treated like dirt,
Comments towards them can be very curt,
What kind of person could cause such hurt,
It's to hatred these people are inclined.

If you were dying would I come to your aid,
Would your disability or religion make me afraid?
How we act will decide if we make the grade,
As Human Beings we are intertwined.

In my world we treasure what you can do,
Your abilities and attributes are what we'll pursue,
Our main aim in life is to treasure you,
To take pleasure from how you're designed.

Our short sight and ignorance do tend to deny,
That it's on each other we need to rely,
To some these phobias will forever apply,
To others needs,
