Fragmented pieces of your broken soul
Your faith stands strong as it always has
Yet hope has diminished and
it has
been depleted layer by layer
into a nothingness that cannot be explained
Unless you yourself have walked that last mile
But it hasn't reached the point of feeling worthless
And that's why it is so important that you
hang
on to your dignity and inhale, now exhale
Because as long as your heart is
beating
and your still alive and breathing
That in itself is a blessing
Even when you feel like you have
none
as far as blessings are concerned
But after all of your lessons
are learned
only then will you understand
That your life will turn around
And you will continue
on
And things will improve
To heal the fragmented
pieces
of your broken soul
