I have come to know that all I may learn
Is not necessarily what I would choose
The rules of life are too uncertain
To understand so many rules.
I was told that knowledge would help set me free
From the shackles that had me tied down
Yet the more I learnt the less I felt worthy
Never understanding what I had found.
I have also learnt that everyone lies
Till the consequence of each lie is laid bare
Few will admit to the truth brought before them
Yet all will claim it's unfair.
I have learnt so much yet understand little
With so many different mountains to climb
I know where I've been and remember each journey
I just wish I knew what to find?
