Fret not of the evildoers,
Do not be preoccupied by them;
They are just Satan pursuers,
That our Lord God will condemn.
Do not envy the wicked ways,
And the little pleasure they bring;
For anyone who disobeys,
In the end fire they will cling.
They quickly dry up like a grass,
Like green plants that wither away;
And their souls are like tarnished brass,
Defiled with going astray.
Trust in the Lord and do good things,
The great joys living in the land;
Experience life what it brings,
Pursue His will through His command.
Practice being faithful and glad,
That you are pursuing the Lord;
He will keep you from being sad,
Through the desires of the Word.
He gives desires of the heart,
By putting all your trust in Him;
As your lips and tongue will impart,
His blessings are filled to the brim.
Entrust your ways unto the Lord,
Through trust He will act for your sake;
Any pleas will not be ignored,
Rest assured He will not forsake.
Your righteousness will shine so bright,
Brighter than the noonday sun;
As long as you remain upright,
Victory over sin is won.
Surrender yourself to the Lord,
And just patiently wait for Him;
As you remain in one accord,
He will ensure you are not grim.
