Poetic-Verses

'' So Can I ''

When a loved one leaves,
Everyone grieves,
What your mind perceives,
Goes awry.

You take God to task,
Then hide under a mask,
That question we ask,
Yes it's why.

You go into regression,
Then deep depression,
You can't see progression,
Life's a lie.

Those memories you keep,
Now make you weep,
Both awake and asleep,
They apply.

You feel bitter inside,
You lose your pride,
From the world you hide,
There's no tie.

Your mind's filled with hate,
This you cannot abate,
On thin ice you skate,
You just cry.

People looking at you,
Saying what can I do,
You must start life anew,
Lift that sigh.

You can make the grade,
So don't be afraid,
Good memories don't fade,
Reach that high.

When I feel put upon,
I think of those gone,
If they've found a new dawn,

‘' So Can I ‘'
