Blessed are those who find the strength,
To persevere at any length;
Their hearts are on the road to lead,
And are enabled to succeed.
As they pass by the balsam trees,
They are feeling a gentle breeze;
It is just like the breath of God,
Feeling warmth since winter has thawed.
They make it to the time of spring,
Longer daylight that is would bring;
Early rains replaces the snow,
Fills the river faster to flow.
Their strength grows as they go along,
Praying to God nothing goes wrong;
Until each one of them appears,
In front of God to dry their tears.
For God opens their ears and eyes,
Gives them insight to make them wise;
For God is their refuge and shield,
And their future has been revealed.
God looks with favor on their face,
Anoints them with mercy and grace;
One day in His court is better,
Than another sinful debtor.
The Lord God is a sun and shield,
Granting favor that is signed and sealed;
He does not hold back a blessing,
Helping through what is distressing.
Those who are pure and innocent,
Willing to be beneficent;
Enabled to control their lust,
For within God they put their trust.
I would rather stay at His house,
To honor and laud as a mouse;
Than to dwell where the devil,
And being a cat of evil.
