Stand up and plead your case,
In front of the mountains;
Let the hills shed their grace,
Water flow like fountains.
Hear the strong foundation,
That are here of this earth;
Of sinful temptation,
Of pleasurable mirth.
What the Lord does endure,
From perverted people;
As enticed by the lure,
Not reading the Gospel.
What has God done to you?
How He has tried patience;
Telling things what is true,
But rejects acceptance.
Remember who is King,
And winner of your soul;
The things that He does bring,
To help you reach your goal.
For you to know the Lord,
Think of what you have done;
And you have just ignored,
The sacrificial Son.
So what should you then bring,
When you do meet the Lord;
Should it be songs to sing,
Treasures that you have stored.
Bow down in front of God,
Show Him humility;
Give Him honor and laud,
Revere with dignity.
Be humbled in your prayer,
He told you what is right;
For the love that you share,
Will keep you in the light.
