Those who are believers,
No longer are decried;
For they are receivers,
If continue to abide.
They receive salvation,
Standards of the Spirit;
For their motivation,
And what they do merit.
The Spirit gives you life,
Through Lord Jesus Christ;
For enduring the strife,
When you have been enticed.
When enticed by the sin,
That is inviting death;
To corrupt you within,
Until your final breath.
It is impossible,
To do what God demands;
And so unfeasible,
To follow all commands.
Because we are too weak,
Although a new creature;
The pleasures we seek,
Are of human nature.
So God had sent His Son,
For paying our debt;
And victory has been won,
No longer have to fret.
So God has condemned sin,
Rather than the sinner;
A new life to begin,
For being a winner.
So we who do not live,
By our corrupt ways;
God is glad to forgive,
For the times that one strays.
