The Days of Ishy and Dishy

I must have re-run our video
At least once every week.
It's a method of surviving
When loneliness is at its peak.

It locks me into yesterday...
Back into those wonder years...
When life with you was wonderful...
When there was no pain or tears.

The song... O, such a special song...
Reaches the depths of me.
It so musically explains how God
Arranged for us to be

In a certain place at a certain time
For this divine intervention.
It really was no accident
And there are no words to mention

The sheer magic of this meeting...
Although we didn't know it then...
Friendship would blossom into love...
Which was way beyond our ken.

Though our forever is suspended
Until my time on earth is through...
Happy Anniversary, Ishy...
Your dear Dishy still loves you.

"Happy Anniversary My Love!"

Song of Solomon 8:6-7

Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm,
for love is strong as death, jealousy is fierce as the grave
. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the LORD.
Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it.
If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house,
he would be utterly despised.
