Reoccuring cataclysm By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Spinningthe shredded tires,
Of a rusty vessel in the muck,
Gravely digging that rut deeper
Not caring if ever unstuck.
And as that viscous wave of tar
Chokes out all my life,
I dig the ditch a little deeper
To sink beneathe the strife.
Every single vision
Fills my heart with woe
Instead of getting better
I'm just letting go
And just as those had thrown me
So did the abyss,
Heaved towards the heavens,
To give the sky a kiss.
One more false awakening,
Another chance to mend.
Or maybe just another nightmare
That keeps me from the end.
