I am speaking in human terms,
Because of the weakness you got;
That sin is like so many germs,
Causing corruption a lot.
So what then how shall we manage,
No more are we under the law;
With us at a disadvantage,
In the dealing with any flaw.
The wages of sin is death,
Are we able to turn back time;
Do over before our last breath,
Enabled to undo the crime.
God forbid for do you know not,
But the grace will be then given;
Through the obedience that ought,
Be confessed to Christ in Heaven.
Your faith in Christ will make you free,
From the sin and no longer a slave;
If you obey you will then see,
Life after buried in a grave.
Temptation is human nature,
Because resistance is too weak;
But since you are a new creature,
Should be blocking from what you seek.
You should be living holy lives,
Obedience brings righteousness;
So when Jesus again arrives,
For the next life is marvelous.
Because death is always the end.
When time for you will also quit;
But God will judge your dividend,
To see if you will inherit.
He will see what your faith proclaimed,
If you were a faithful servant;
And if you still have been ashamed,
From a weakness you were fervent.
