No flower may grow through winter snow By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
How could they blame you, my sweetest dear?
When they try and crop your floral form
Into a picture of Winter
Then wonder why you wither
Away
For all birds fly more slowly
In the rain
Buried beneath the weight of all your pain
How can your soul shine?
How could it become light
Carrying so much heaviness?
What did they expect, my sweetest sunshine?
Storm clouds took over your clear, blue skies
Until the world forgot the blinding light which lives behind
Until you forgot..
